Moroi is a top-down hack'n'slash with classical adventure elements and a heavy focus on story and dialogue, in a dark fantasy medieval world with proto-machinery and naive art. Fast action paced areas are intertwined with areas of dialogue and deep lore in which the player acknowledges the weird world in which they are, a world always surprising and terrifying, but also coated in dark humor, filled with weird characters, dark mysteries and following a surprising plotline.
